Bangladesh Bank (BB) has given the e-Wallet 'Pocket' of ABG Technologies Limited preliminary approval to run Cash In and Cash Out operations as Bangladesh's first PSP.

ABG Technologies Limited, a concern of Bashundhara Group, organized a function in this regard at ABG Tower, the corporate office of 'Pocket' in Bashundhara residential area of the capital on Thursday (May 23) afternoon. 

'Pocket' authorities during the event said users will be able to use the new service soon.

Chairman of Bashundhara Group Ahmed Akbar Sobhan was present at this groundbreaking journey on Thursday.

Bashundhara Group Director Ahmed Ibrahim Sobhan, and ABG Bashundhara Director Mostafa Azad Mohiuddin and senior officials of the organization were also present at the event.

The 'Pocket' app can be downloaded from Google's Play Store and Apple's App Store. Pocket is offering physical Visa Debit Card, through which all the benefits of Visa Debit Card including POS machine payment, ATM withdrawal can be enjoyed.

Apart from this, e-wallet 'Pocket' can handle various financial transactions of modern lifestyle including merchant payment, vendor payment, send money, request money, mobile recharge, credit card bill payment, salary disbursement, utility bill payment, ad money from bank and card, various government payments.
