DHAKA: Hemayati, a new free smartphone app designed to let parents keep tabs on their children, has been launched on the Apple store by the UAE ministry of interior’s Child Protection Centre.

Hemayati (Arabic for ‘my protection’) allows parents to maintain real time communication with their children. It also provided real time information on where they are. The app also offers safety and emergency alerts.

The app also provides answers to typical child safety questions that new parents may have.

Hemayati is already available on Google Play Store for Android smartphones and tablets, reports gulfnews.com.
