DHAKA: Department of Inspection and for Factories and Establishments, under labour and employment ministry has introduced its official website on Sunday noon.

State minister for labour and employment Advocate Mujibul Haque Chunnu inaugurated the website www.dife.gov.bd around 12:00 noon.

Chunnu said the website was built as a part of the commitment of the garment buyers’, international alliance of labour organizations and the Accord on Fire and Building Safety in Bangladesh.

He said that information of 3,498 garment factories have been uploaded in the website.

Secretary of the ministry Mikhail Shipar and chief inspector of inspection department among others were present at the ceremony.
