DHAKA: Daffodil Institute of IT and Bangladesh ICT Journalist Forum jointly arranged award giving ceremony for Basis outsourcing on Saturday.
Executive Director of Daffodil Institute of IT Nuruzzaman presided over the program at the auditorium of Daffodil University.
Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology State Minister Junaid Ahmed Palak, Head of Electrical and Electronics department Shahjalal University of Science and Technology Professor Dr Muhammad Zafar Iqbal, The Chairman of Daffodil Group M Sabur Khan and president of Bangladesh Journalist Forum Muhammad Khan among others were present in the programme.
Information and Communication Technology State Minister Junaid Ahmed Palak said that talented young generation is the future of potential economic Bangladesh.
The government is promised to make a digital Bangladesh with the help of science and technology within 2021, he added.
He further said that the 70 percent of young generation whose age limit is within 35 can be proved as the bright future of the country if they will be well trained up.
He also said that the internet service will knock at everyone’s door within next four year. He also hoped that some 55 thousands skilled freelancer will be availed under ‘learning and earning’ project in next two years.
Dr. Muhammad Jafor Iqbal said that the young generation of our country is talented, enthusiastic, hard-working and patriotic. The young people need to boost up and motivated so that they can play a vital role in freelancing. Bangladesh will be more enriched while the young people will earn more in this field, he added.
The Chairman of Daffodil group M Sabur Khan said that outsourcing can be a good source of financial development of the country.
He further announced to begin a start up center and business incubator at the campus to influence freelancing and outsourcing among the young people.
He also said that Daffodil Institute of IT is going to launch an outsourcing summit program in December of the year where the representatives from 10 countries will take part.
