DHAKA: World largest social media website Facebook was hit by an outage that appears to have halted all aspects of the service.
The problem was reportedly global and not just for users in Bangladesh.
The problems began at around 2:15pm Bangladesh time, but the site restored at 2.25pm.
On logging into Facebook.com, a message appeared that read: "Sorry, something went wrong. We are working on getting this fixed as soon as we can."
