Drag-and-drop received attachments in Gmail

People who regularly receive emails with attachments could benefit from a new feature that has been introduced to Gmail.

Rather than go through the process of clicking on the attachment and deciding where you want to save the file to, you can simply drag and drop the file onto your desktop.

You will have to be using the Chrome browser for this function to work, though.

Though you will only save a small amount of time, it is the latest effort from Google to add extra convenience for Gmail users.

Back in April, Google announced that you could use the drag-and-drop method to attach files to outgoing messages. You can also drag images into the body of a message in Gmail.
