DHAKA: A two-day international conference on Information Technology (IT) is scheduled to be held here from December 22.
Daffodil International University (DIU) will arrange the 17th Computer and IT conference on its campus in Ashulia with the cooperation of Information and Communication Technology ministry and private mobile-phone operator Robi.
The organizers told media on Saturday noon at a press conference held at a city hotel.
DIU trusty board president Sabur Khan chaired the conference.
However, the DIU authorities said they have already received 367 basic research papers from 28 countries for the conference.
Robi Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Supun Weerasinghe was the chief guest at the event.
DIU vice-chancellor (VC) Professor Dr M Lutfar Rahman and pro-VC M Golam Rahman were among others present at the press meet.
