DHAKA: Banglalink has brought an offer for using unlimited Viber, a mobile application for free call, text, picture and video sharing, at Tk 6 for whole day.

The mobile phone operator, however, is the first in the country to introduce such an offer, a press release said Wednesday.

According to the release, any Banglalink prepaid and ‘Call & Control’ subscribers with an internet enabled handset can purchase the daily Viber package.

Through this package, the subscribers can enjoy Viber at higher speed up to 20MB. Later, it will run under fair usage policy of 128Kbps, the release added.

However, the daily-pack can be used for Viber only. Internet usage for other applications will be charged separately.

To enjoy the unlimited Viber offer for a limited period, users have to dial *5000*535#.

Moreover, they have to dial *5000*500# to check volume status and *5000*539# to unsubscribe the pack.
