DHAKA: People of the country will hopefully enjoy the facilities of 4G telecommunication by the tenure of this government.

Sajeeb Wazed Joy, IT advisor to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and also her son also said, “Auction for 4G will be held by 2016.”

Joy came up with the disclosure in the inaugural session of tablet computer distribution program to the government officials at Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) in city’s Agargaon area on Thursday.

The PM’s advisor said that the government will establish 2,000 computer labs across the country so that common people can easily access to the government services.

The digitalization of government services will reduce corruption, he commented.

However, 18,000 tablet computers out of 25,000 distributed on Thursday as a part of digitalization program.

Joy inaugurated the program by distributing some the tablets among the government officials.

He hoped that these tablet computers will be used for the betterment of people.
