DHAKA: Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) has taken a initiative to form a separate platform naming ‘BASIS Women’s Forum’ to provide adequate assistance to interested women for building carrier in Information Technology sector.
On the occasion, an inaugural ceremony as well as an Iftar Party is going to be arranged at Bangabandhu International Conference Center on Saturday, says a press release issued by BASIS.
According to the release, State minister for power, energy and mineral recourses ministry Nasrul Hamid Bipu, state minister for Information and Communication Technology ministry Zunaid Ahmed Palak, FBCCI president Abdul Matlub Ahmad and several political and business leaders will attend the ceremony, with BASIS president Shamim Ahsan in the chair.
The platform named ‘BASIS Women’s Forum’ will work to ensure participation of women in creating 10-lakh skilled manpower to implement ‘One Bangladesh’.
