Dhaka: Subscribers, who would not respond to re-register their SIM cards in second phases, are warned of their cell phone lines to be disconnected.

Posts and telecommunications department made the announcement on Thursday.

It also informed the subscribers that two steps will be followed in old SIM cards registration while one step for new SIM card registration.

The guidelines have already been sent to Bangladesh Regulatory Commission (BTRC), an officer of posts and telecommunications department told banglanews.
