DHAKA: Country’s one of the pioneers in 4G world BIEL, currently working under Ollo brand name (Ollo wireless internet), will introduce fourth generation internet service - 4G LTE network in Gopalganj soon.
It will also be introduced in Sylhet and other regions, said Bangladesh Internet Exchange Limited (BIEL) on Tuesday.
Country’s one of the pioneers in 4G world BIEL, currently working under Ollo brand name (Ollo wireless internet), has introduced fourth generation internet service - 4G LTE first time in Bangladesh, the release added.
BIEL, brand name Ollo, has already started its 4G LTE network in Jessore.
LTE is the next step in the technical evolution of 2G/3G networks.
It offers superior user experience with simplified technology for next-generation mobile broadband and currently Ollo 4G LTE network is going to provide with download speeds up to 5-10 times higher than presently available connections.
“Today most operators have 2G and 3G systems deployed and recognize the need to deploy 4G to keep their mobile broadband offering competitive. So, by keeping one step ahead, Ollo is preparing itself to make a strong & stable network in this market,” the release added.
According to the release, most of the vital areas of Gopalganj city would be covered by Ollo 4G LTE network.
Ollo 4G has brought uSIM card for its LTE customers that means any user with LTE supported handset or devices can use this network by configuring this SIM in the devices.
Moreover, with this highest speed of LTE internet customer canable to download HD movie, play multiplayer online games, make high- quality video calls and many more in an instant.
