DHAKA: The state-owned mobile operator Teletalk is coming with a new logo to attract more subscribers.
Posts, telecommunications and IT state minister Tarana Halim will unveil the logo and inaugurate a re-branding program on Tuesday (March 8).
Teletalk managing director Gias Uddin Ahmed told this to banglanews adding that they will disclose the company’s future plan Tuesday evening at the launching ceremony at Bashundhara International Convention City.
They will also offer some packages for its subscribers on the day.
A posts and telecommunication division official said that the new logo will be more attractive to draw the attention of the would-be subscribers.
According to the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), Teletalk has so far 42.11-lakhs users among 131,956,000 users of six telecom companies of the country.
However, Teletalk gets new 68,000 users in January.
