GP STAR clients to enjoy flat interest rate from BRAC Bank

DHAKA: Grameenphone (GP) STAR customers will enjoy attractive interest rates on all loan products of BRAC Bank under a joint promotion of GP and BRAC Bank.

Grameenphone director of product Hasibul Haque and BRAC Bank acting head of retail banking division Abedur Rahman Sikder signed an agreement in this regard on behalf of their respective organizations recently.

Grameenphone issued a press release in this regard on Thursday.

It said among the products, there will be Home Loan with an interest rate of 9.5 percent per annum for salaried employees and doctors, while it will be 10 percent for business persons, self employed and landlords. The processing fee will be 0.50 percent on Home Loan.

Auto Loan and Personal Loan for salaried employees and Personal Loan for doctors will have 12, 13 and 13 percent interest respectively. There will be no processing fee on these products.

On top of Loan products, customers are also eligible to avail 100 percent waiver of Annual Fee on Credit Cards (Visa/Master) issued from BRAC Bank where all Platinum, Gold and Silver cards are included, the release added.

This special privilege offer will be available countrywide 174 Retail, SME/Krishi Branches and SME Service Centers of BRAC Bank from January 1 to March 31, 2016.   

The release also said customers also can visit www.grameenphone.com/star-program to know about the Special Offers of STAR Customers and www.bracbank.com for product features or they may call 16221 (BRAC Bank 24 Hour Call Center/Hotline) from both land telephone and mobile phone.

This alliance is in line with GP’s continuous efforts to reward its best customers and win loyalty through pioneering product offerings.
