DHAKA: The three-day Smartphone & Tab Expo-2016 will begin at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in city on Thursday.

Leading mobile operator of the country Grameenphone is the title sponsor of the expo while co-sponsors are Elite, Huawei, Samsung and Symphony.

State minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak will inaugurate the expo at the Carnival Hall of BICC at 3:00pm on the day.

The expo, however, will begin at 10:00am with the view to create chances for the local users to watch and buy cutting-edge smartphones and laptops.

The event organizer Expo Maker will organize the 5th edition of the expo.

World-renowned smartphone and tablet brands, including Samsung, Symphony, Huawei, Elite, Stylus, Goldberg, Asus, Lenovo, Mycell and TwinMOS, will participate in the expo and showcase their products.

The expo coordinator Nahid Hasnain said, “There will be discounts for the participants”.
