DHAKA: The CTO Forum will arrange the 2nd summit in March after being inspired by the success of the first tech summit that held past year in Dhaka.
‘This time we have all the SAARC countries with us so it will be larger than earlier one,’ said CTO Forum president Tapan Kanti Sarkar.
‘It will also help us update ourselves with the successful use of latest technology in our neighboring countries.’
The CTO Forum president made this assertion at a press meet on January 30 at CTO forum secretariat in city’s panthapath area.
According to him, the upcoming summit will enhance interpersonal knowledge and inter-regional relationship for development.
However, CTO Forum and Infocom have been conducting different types of summits of Bangladeshi and Indian IT professionals for fostering the digital movements in both countries for past 3 years.
Based on the theme “Architecting Digital Business” the Infocom and CTO Forum Bangladesh will organize the “Tech Summit-2016” on 11–12 March in Dhaka.
Along with Bangladesh and India, heads of ICT division from Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan and Myanmar will join the summit.
