DHAKA: University students, for the first time in the country, will get the opportunity to pursue internship in the world’s leading software company Microsoft.
Initially to be continued between March and April, as many as 50 students from science and technology faculty; engineering and business administration will avail the opportunity while equal number of students are to be made Microsoft brand ambassadors during the said time.
Given the nature of the scheme, Microsoft, since May, has consented to allow 25 aspirants for internship alongside 25 will be made brand ambassador in every month, said a Centre for Research and Information (CRI) press release on Sunday (February 7).

As part of its ongoing internship campaign for the youths, Young Bangla, the country’s largest platform for youths, under the auspices of CRI, taken up the task in association with Phoenix Bangladesh foundation to open up that opportunity.
Currently, Young Bangla has initiated internship opportunities for youths at three different ministries namely - foreign affairs; power, energy and mineral resources and ICT Division.
