Robi partners with Qubee for speedy internet

DHAKA: Robi has partnered with Qubee to provide wi-fi service to its valued subscribers across the country.

It is expected that Qubee’s technical support will help ensure the best customer experience with Robi’s super-fast internet service, said a press release.

The wi-fi service will be initially introduced in key metropolitan locations.

According to the release, it will gradually be expanded to other areas.

The wi-fi service will complement Robi’s ongoing rollout of 3G network to meet the burgeoning demand for quality high-speed internet services at an affordable price.

In this connection, Robi’s chief operating officer (COO) Mahtab Uddin Ahmed and Qubee’s chief executive officer (CEO) DS Faisal Hyder signed an agreement on behalf of their respective organizations on Thursday (February 11) at Robi Corporate Office.

Commenting on the initiative, Robi’s COO Mahtab Uddin Ahmed said, “Robi is very happy to partner with Qubee in providing wi-fi services to our valued subscribers”.

“We are confident that this partnership will enable our subscribers to have the best experience with Robi’s super-fast internet. We look forward to work with Qubee in facilitating the creation of a thriving digital society in the country.”

Robi’s Executive vice-president of Market Operation Jean-Michel Arnaud Chanut, vice-president of Corporate Strategy Md. Iftakharul Islam, General Manager Mohammad Moshiur Rahman, Manager Md. Tofazzol Hussain, Manager Amran Kabir and Qubee’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Mainul Huda, General Manager Regulatory Affairs Zia Hasan Khan, General Manager Technology Jyoti Agrawala & Manager Marketing Jonaid Abdullah were present on the occasion.
