DHAKA: Young Bangla along with Microsoft Bangladesh has taken an initiative to create ‘Service Engineers’ across the country.

With the participation of Young Bangla volunteers from Moulavibazar and Sylhet, daylong ‘Service Engineering Training’ with Microsoft certification program was held at Moulavibazar Government College and DC office auditorium, Sylhet on April 22 and 23 respectively.

The ‘Service Engineering Training’ focused on general troubleshooting training for laptop and desktop computers.

At least 120 participants received free ‘Service Engineering Training’ along with certificates from Microsoft.

Microsoft Bangladesh Limited managing director Sonia Bashir Kabir said, “Together we will build a ‘Digital Bangladesh’ using the power of youth tagging them with IT”.

So far, Young Bangla, Microsoft Bangladesh and Phoenix Bangladesh Foundation have created 200 service engineers at grass-root level in Bangladesh.

Moreover, Young Bangla and Microsoft Bangladesh will continue this opportunity throughout this year and have set a target to train at least one thousand youths across the country.
