Robi-Aamra to promote Super-Fast Internet

DHAKA: Country’s mobile operator Robi decided to work with Internet provider Aamra Networks in a bid to provide better internet services to its subscribers.

Robi’s managing director and CEO Supun Weerasinghe and Aamra Networks Limited’s CEO Syed Farhad Ahmed have recently signed an agreement in this regard recently, said a press release on Monday (May 2).

Both of the sides hoped that the move will help Robi subscribers experience better, faster, reliable and seamless internet access at Wi-Fi hotspots deployed by Aamra, on behalf of their respective organizations.

As the consumers become ever more reliant on the use of internet, there is a growing need for reliable internet speed.

Especially, the desire for staying connected with internet while being increasingly mobile is a new social trend that has emerged recently.

According to the release, Robi the leading digital service provider of the country has addressed the need for such ambitious and energetic people by forging this partnership with Aamra Networks Limited.

So, wherever the subscribers’ lifestyle may take them they will be able to enjoy Robi’s Super-Fast Internet in all its glory, it added.

Robi’s executive vice-president, business operation, Jean-Michel Arnaud Chanut; vice-president, corporate strategy, Md. Iftakharul Islam; general manager, business operation, Mohammad Moshiur Rahman and manager, business operation, Amran Kabir were present at the event.

Aamra Smart Solutions chief executive officer, Intekhab Mahmud; Aamra Networks Limited’s chief operating officer, Sharful Alam; deputy general manager (DGM), Khaled Ahmed Nur; assistant general manager (AGM), Muntasir Ahmed and Assistant Manager, Sinha Ibna Humayun were also present on the occasion.
