DHAKA: Non-biometric SIMs will be blocked permanently after May 31 midnight.
State minister for posts and telecommunications Tarana Halim made the announcement after a meeting with mobile operator high-ups at her office in city on Sunday (May 15).
Meanwhile, she also said, subscribers will get compensation from second minute after each call drop.
