DHAKA: State minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak with his delegation completed his 3-day visit in South Korea to explore the potential of cooperation measures between the countries in the ICT sector.
Both countries have been making efforts to upgrade the overall cooperation into ICT development to write post-RMG success story, said a press release on Sunday (May 15).
During the trip, he visited Techno Valley in Pangyo, an industrial complex in South Korea, to benchmark the development case of the complex where there is cluster of IT, biotech and cultural technology.
The delegation also visited the site of Giga Island Project in Imjaisland in Korea, the release added.
Along with the Korean ambassador AhnSeong-doo and Bangladesh ambassador to Korea M Zulfiqur Rahman, the Bangladesh delegation attended an ICT seminar organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency and Bangladesh embassy in Korea.
Palak and the minister of science, ICT and future planning of South Korea held a talk to promote cooperative measures in the ICT sector between Bangladesh and Korea.
