DHAKA: The authorities of Digital Security Summit 2016 have shifted the date of the summit from May 28 to October 14.
The two-day summit will be held at Krishibid Institute of Bangladesh (KIB) Auditorium in city.
According to the organizers, the upcoming summit will provide a unique opportunity for all stakeholders - financial institutions, business firms, mobile operators, ISPs, government offices, etc. in Bangladesh.
It also will be a platform for security experts, digital security companies, security researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, policy makers, industry leaders, job seekers and visionaries and dreamers.
It is expected that the summit will attract more than 1,000,000 visitors indirectly and 10,000 target audience will visit and 1,200 participants are expected to attend the program.
World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA) will assist in organizing the summit while Information Systems Audit and Control Association, HRDI, Internet Society, Dhaka Chapter are the strategic partners.
The summit will be organized to build awareness realization about the importance of digital security among the stakeholders, explore determine the requirements in developing a secure network infrastructure from the perspectives of Bangladesh, creating technology-based security solutions for the business sector, develop a national data security policy and develop a professional platform for those who wish to build their career in the security field.
