DHAKA: The world’s 2nd largest Android smartphone brand Huawei and Bangladesh’s one of the leading digital communications service providers Banglalink have launched two Smartphones -- Huawei Y3II and Y5II -- with internet and voice bundle offer.
The smartphones were launched at tiger’s den, Banglalink headquarter in city’s Gulshan area as part of the companies’ continuous effort to bring affordable mobile telephone among the mass, says a press release issued on Saturday (August 6).
Ingmar Wang, Director of Device Business, Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Ltd.; Anower Sadath Kabir, Head of B2B, Device Business, Huawei Bangladesh; Mashrur Hassan Mim, Head of Marketing, Device Business, Huawei Bangladesh; Bernard Wang, Marketing Manager, Device Business, Huawei Bangladesh; and Erik Aas, CEO, Banglalink were present at the launching ceremony.
Besides, Shahriar Ahmed Remon, Head of Device, Banglalink and Shibly Sadiq, Device Sr. Manager, Banglalink also were present during the launching ceremony.
These smartphones will be exclusively available for all existing or new Banglalink prepaid/call & control customers at all Banglalink & Huawei outlets across the country.
Huawei Y3 II comes up with 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera to capture happy moments. Besides, it has 1.3 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM. User can extend handset’s memory up to 32 GB through microSD card.
The phone set runs with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and supports 3G network, Wi-Fi, hotspot and G-sensor technologies in it. For long-lasting back up the phone has 2100mAh battery.
Customer can buy Huawei Y3 II with 4.5 IPS inches display by spending only BDT 6,190.
Along with the Banglalink’s 18GB internet data with 750 min talk time (Banglalink-Banglalink), 750 min talk time (Banglalink- other operator) which is same as regular product price.
Validity of per bonus is 30 days. Within of three months period, every month customer can get 6GB internet data, 250 min talk time (Banglalink-Banglalink) and 250 min bonus talk time (Banglalink-other operator). To get bonus minute customer will have to send sms mentioning ‘32’ to 4321.

Price of Huawei Y5 II is only BDT 8,990. Along with the Banglalink’s 24GB internet data with 1500 min talk time (Banglalink-Banglalink), 1500 min talk time (Banglalink-other operator) which is same as regular product price.
