DHAKA: The Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday (November 3) directed authorities concerned to reinstate spectrum allocation for Citycell.
It also asked the mobile operator to pay Tk 100cr in dues by November 19.
The four-member bench of the Appellate Division headed by Chief Justice SK Sinha gave the order after hearing a petition.
Earlier on October 24, Citycell filed the petition, five days after Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) suspended its spectrum allocation as the operator has failed to pay the full amount of its dues on time.
