DHAKA: The ‘Bangabandhu Satellite’, the first satellite of the country, will be launched in March next year.

Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) chairman Dr. Shahjahan Mahmud said this in a view-exchange meeting with TRNB at BTRC office on Wednesday (Nov 29).

Dr. Shahjahan said the construction of the satellite is complete. We have inspected it during the France visit. Now is the time to launch.  Hopefully, it will be launched from John F. Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in a suitable time of March 2018.
