DHAKA: Local Broadband Network Owners’ Society (LBNOS) on October 4 organized a workshop at the Krishibid Institute in Farmgate of the capital city.
The participants were briefed about FTTX technology, wireless broadband, agile configured, ISP-friendly routers, switch and more technological facts.
The day-long workshop titled “TP Link Workshop on FTTX & Wireless Broadband” had 8 sessions, said a press release Saturday (Oct 6).
Several more activities also held at the 3D Hall of the institute in Khamarbari.
“We, the local broadband network operators or owners, are working as the main weapon to reach broadband connection to the doorsteps of the people, which is the main equipment in building the digital Bangladesh,” LBNOS President Fuad Muhammad Sharfuddin told the workshop.
Other officials of the society including senior vice-presidents Humayun Ur Rashid and Ruhul Amin Khan and secretary for ICT Maruf Al Moyeen uddin attended the workshop.
LBNOS Secretary General Mohammad Alamgir said the workshop will play special role for developing, enhancing the service and creating efficient manpower in broadband network sector.
