DHAKA: A number of Bangladeshi youths are set to participate in various levels at Future Youth Summit 2018 at Sunway University in Malaysia.
Some of the youths have been included in the organizing committee, speaker management department, human resource department, and sponsor and partnership department, while some to attend the event as delegates and executive members.
Soroj Mehedi has been elected as an executive member in Information and Technology department.
The Future Youth Summit, organized by the Commonwealth Youth Innovation Centre in partnership with the Commonwealth Youth Council and the Commonwealth Secretariat, is set to be held on November 16-18.
The goal of this year’s Future Youth Summit is to bring together the most passionate young leaders to exchange experiences, foster learning and expand capacity, and create a platform.
The summit will be organized on four thematic pillars: digitalization, inclusivity, creativity and sustainability. Separate workshops will be held on these four themes.
Five hundred young leaders, entrepreneurs, social workers, industrial experts, government officials, social workers from different countries of the world will join the summit.
In addition to Commonwealth Secretary General Patricia Scotland, prominent Indian writer and social worker Vandana Shiva, ministers of several countries including Russia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Ethiopia and others are expected to join.
