DHAKA: Seven more companies were allotted land at the industrial zone of Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City in Gazipur.
Bangabandhu Hi-Tech Park Authority (BHTPA) handed over the 20.41 acres of land to the companies for the next 40 years after signing the treaty.
The contract was signed formally at the conference room of BHTPA in city on Monday (December 10).
Apart from representatives of the companies, and BHTPA managing director Hosne Ara Begum was present as the chief guest, among other BHTPA officials, at the signing ceremony.
The companies will collectively invest about Taka 558 crores and create 5250 jobs.
The companies were-Data Soft, Amra Holdings, Dave Net Limited, Spectrum Engineering Consortium Limited, Media Software Data System Limited, and UW System Limited.
The investing companies plan to manufacture hardware, software, IOT, BPO, training center, data center, mobile phone assemble and manufacture, RND etc.
