DHAKA: Posts, Telecommunications and ICT minister Mustafa Jabbar said he was feeling proud as Bangladesh introduced the Digital Security Act which would be followed by many of countries now.
“A country like Bangladesh has made the law… (I’m) feeling proud for this,” he said.
“I feel proud most as even the American Embassy is working on the same law by copying it,” he added.
The minister, as the chief guest, was addressing a seminar at Brac Center in Mohakhali on Saturday (Jan 12).
Jabbar further said other countries have no alternative rather than copying the Digital Security Act of Bangladesh.
