DHAKA: Visiting Dutch Queen Maxima Zorreguieta Cerruti praised Bangladesh’s progress in ICT sector after visiting Posts and Telecommunications Division.

According to a press release of the ministry, Queen Maxima, after holding a meeting with Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabber at his ministry on Thursday (July 11), expressed her determination to continue cooperation between Bangladesh and the Netherlands in Information and Communication Technology or ICT sector.  

In the meeting, they discussed various issues, including infrastructural development of the IT sector and mutual interest between Bangladesh and the Netherlands.

Besides, both sides expressed hope that the excellent friendly relations between the two countries will be strengthened and they are confident to work together for this purpose.

Secretary of the Department of Posts and Telecommunications Ashok Kumar Biswas, Chairman of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) Zahirul Haque and others were present at the meeting.
