DHAKA: Information and Communication Technology Affairs Advisor to the Prime Minister Sajeeb Wazed Joy said young people will be trained across the country on information and technology.
Sajeeb Wazed Joy said the training program is not just Dhaka-based; the training program will be taken across the country.
He said this at a program called ‘Youth on Politics’ organized by the Center for Research and Information (CRI) and Young Bangla at a city hotel in the capital on Tuesday (October 22).
Joy said that the government's income is increasing every year. Allocation for training and research for young people will also be increased.
Responding to the question posed by the participants, he said that ICT training will be taken outside Dhaka. Such events will be conducted outside Dhaka. Training on how to become a freelancer will also be given.
He said different skills development training programs will be taken for those who have never been to school, or dropped out. It is not possible for everyone to get employment with education. Therefore, projects will be taken for those who are out of education.
Sajeeb Wazed Joy said under Establishing Digital Connectivity Project, I would like to open connectivity to all the schools and colleges of the country through WiFi zones.
