Stocks end lower Sunday

DHAKA: Country’s stock markets marked fall again in its price indices on Sunday.

 DSEX, the broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 31 points only to stand at 4,930 at the close on the first trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 107056 with volume of transactions at Tk 3833 million.

Of the issues traded, 135 advanced, 132 declined and 32 remained unchanged.

BXPHARMA topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 248 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were HFL, BEXIMCO, SAPORTL, ABBANK, KEYACOSMET, WMSHIPYARD, MPETROLEUM, FAMILYTEX and JAMUNAOIL.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 9261 by dropping over 48 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 88 gained, 103 declined and 32 remained unchanged.
