DHAKA: Country’s single month export earnings in November this yeas have marked a 9.27 per cent growth compared to the earnings of the corresponding period of the previous year.
The country’s export earnings in November 2014 reached $241.74 crore while it was $221.24 crore in November 2013.
Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), in its latest data, disclosed the information on Monday.
With the export in November, the earnings in the first five months of the current 2014-15 FY stood at $1,207 crore against $1,196 crore of July-November period in the previous fiscal year.
The export earning from knit and woven sectors of readymade garment industry was at $499.78 crore in the first five months of the current fiscal against $489.99 crore of July-November period in the previous financial year.
