DHAKA: Remittance growth has increased 10.30 percent in first six months of 2014-15 fiscal year.
Bangladesh Bank (BB), the central bank of the county, spokesperson ASM Asaduzzaman told banglanews on Monday.
Citing the released BB report, he said that expatriates have sent Tk 7,262.30 crore to the country in the first six months of the current fiscal year.
The remittance was Tk 6,722.68 crore in the same period of the past fiscal year, he added.
