DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Thursday.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over four point to stand at 4,956 at the close on the last trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 85326with transaction at Tk 3,310 million. Of the issues traded, 127 advanced, 136 declined and 47 remained unchanged.
BBS topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 175 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were IDLC, SAIFPOWER, TITASGAS, WMSHIPYARD, GP, DESCO, ENVOYTEX, SQURPHARMA and AGNISYSL.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 7,934 by dropping over 32 points.
Out of the issues traded, 88 gained, 121 declined and 36 remained unchanged.
