Bourses see fall Wednesday

DHAKA: The indices of key share prices both at Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed a negative trend from the early hours of trading on Wednesday.

DSEX, the prime index of country’s major bourse – Dhaka Stock Exchange – went down to 4,782.50 points at 2:30pm while it was 4,857.00 points at 10:30am.

However, CNATEX topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 425 million.

The other turnover leaders of the major bourse were, LAFSURCEML, NFML, GP, ENVOYTEX, BEXIMCO, WMSHIPYARD, AGNISYSL, BRACBANK and BXPHARMA.

On the other hand, the port city bourse, CSE, also saw negative trend from the first hour of trading with its Selective Category Index, CSCX, 1,084.85 in the morning and 1,072.80 in the afternoon.
