DHAKA: Country's stock market marked fall again in its price indices on Thursday.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 14 points only to stand at 4,797 at the close on the last trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 74,407 with volume of transactions at Tk 2230 million.
Of the issues traded, 180 advanced, 89 declined and 37 remained unchanged.
CNATEX topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 119 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were LAFSURCEML, NFML, IDLC, WMSHIPYARD, GP, BRACBANK, SAPORTL, BEXIMCO and ENVOYTEX.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8924 by gaining over 39 points.
Out of the issues traded, 130 gained, 59 declined and 31 remained unchanged.
