DHAKA: Country's both bourses--Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE)--marked fall in its price indices on Monday.
DSEX, the prime index of DSE, shed over 36 points only to stand at 4,618 at the close on the second trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 65,661 with volume of transactions at Tk 2269 million.
Of the issues traded, 93 advanced, 180 declined and 36 remained unchanged.
GP topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 109 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were LAFSURCEML, CVOPRL, SQURPHARMA, CNATEX, SPCL, OLYMPIC, AAMRATECH, WMSHIPYARD and BEXIMCO.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8562 by dropping over 52 points.
Out of the issues traded, 62 gained, 147 declined and 32 remained unchanged.
