DHAKA: Share price index at the country’s both bourses --- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) slipped in early hours of trading on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, went down by 12.24 points or 0.26 per cent to 4644.22 after the first one-hour of trade at 11:37am.
Trade deals stood at 11120 with volume of transactions at Tk 392.13 million.
Of the issues traded till then, 74 advanced, 127 declined and 52 remained unchanged.
TITASGAS was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 46.47 million changing hands till then followed by LAFSURCEML, CNATEX, AGNISYSL, GP, RAKCERAMIC and ALLTEX.
The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed downward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index losing 8.70 points to 8634.37, also at 11:35am.
Of the issues traded till then, 67 gained, 60 declined and 27 remained unchanged.
