DSE, CSE showing negative

DHAKA: Share price index at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – witnessed negative trend in early hours of trading on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

DSEX, the prime index of DSE, went down 7.04 points or 0.146 percent to reach 4795.22 at 12:09 pm.

Trade deals stood at 22,146 with volume of transactions at Tk 910.87 million.

Of the issues traded till then, 84 gained, 127 declined and 63 remained unchanged.

SPCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 66.46 million having changed hands.

CSCX, the key index of CSE, shed over 15.63 points to stand at 8914.32, also at 12:05pm.

Of the issues traded till then, 53 gained, 72 declined and 26 remained unchanged.
