DHAKA: Both bourses of the country--Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Monday.
DSEX, the benchmark index of DSE, rose over 6.46 point to stand at 4808.64 at the close on the third trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 87673 with transaction at Tk 3151.53 million. Of the issues traded, 126 advanced, 144 declined and 41 remained unchanged.
SQURPHARMA topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 168.68 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were UCBL, BSCCL, ACI, IFADAUTOS, LAFSURCEML, SPCL, HEIDELBCEM, MJLBD and IDLC.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8921.86 by dropping over 9.93 points.
Out of the issues traded, 79 gained, 129 declined and 37 remained unchanged.
