DHAKA: The European Union (EU) will donate Bangladesh about Tk 6,000 crore on good governance, democracy, food security, education and human resource development.
The EU will provide the financial aid under ‘Multi-annual Indicative Program’ to Bangladesh.
In this regard, a deal was signed at the NEC conference room in city’s Agargaon area on Thursday.
Economic Relations Division (ERD) senior secretary Mezbahuddin and EU ambassador to Dhaka Pierre Mayaudon signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.
The government officials and EU delegates were also present at the event.
