DHAKA: Flydubai will launch direct flights to Sylhet from April 1, the Dubai discount carrier said in a statement on Thursday.

The service, which will start with five weekly flights and increase to daily flights from May 4, will be operated under a code-share agreement with Regent Airways of Bangladesh.

The Bangladeshi airline put its flight code on the flydubai service, an airline spokesperson confirmed.

It is flydubai’s third service to Bangladesh, reports the gulfnews.com
