DHAKA: Investors witnessed minor fall in benchmark indices of the country’s bourses--Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- on Thursday.
DSEX, the Broad Index of DSE, shed over 40.96 points only to stand at 4472.13 at the close on the last trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 76323 with volume of transactions at Tk 2746.79 million.
Of the issues traded, 67 advanced, 205 declined and 37 remained unchanged.
LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 197.30 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were GP, MJLBD, SQURPHARMA, KPCL, IFADAUTOS, ACI, PHARMAID, ACIFORMULA and SHASHADNIM.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8324.44 by dropping over 81.06 points.
Out of the issues traded, 54 gained, 161 declined and 24 remained unchanged.
