DHAKA: Investors witnessed minor fall in benchmark indices of the country’s bourses --Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE)-- on Wednesday.
DSEX, the key index of DSE, shed over 17.37 points only to stand at 4513.10 at the close on the fourth trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 88934 with volume of transactions at Tk 3597.18 million.
Of the issues traded, 108 advanced, 151 declined and 45 remained unchanged.
MJLBD topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 223.17 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were SQURPHARMA, GP, ACI, SHASHADNIM, BEXIMCO, LAFSURCEML, SAIFPOWER, KPCL and IFADAUTOS.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8405.50 by dropping over 28.82 points.
Out of the issues traded, 73 gained, 134 declined and 25 remained unchanged.
