Though on an average 130 trucks entered the port but there was no transport to carry the goods. The situation is becoming normal day by day.

The port could not achieve the revenue target during January–March period. However, the goods now being imported are mostly either duty-free or of less duty.

According to Haider, the work index at this port is showing downtrend resulting loss of revenue earnings of the government.
