DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country--Dhaka Stock Exchange and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) --witnessed gain in share-price indices on Wednesday.
DSEX, the Broad Index of DSE, rose over 2.10 points to stand at 4347.13 at the close on the fourth trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 105352 with transaction at Tk 3714.03 million. Of the issues traded, 120 advanced, 148 declined and 35 remained unchanged.
UPGDCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 388.98 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were ACI, UNIQUEHRL, IFADAUTOS, PHARMAID, MJLBD, SHASHADNIM, GP, ACIFORMULA and SQURPHARMA.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8127.07 by gaining over 34.13 points.
Out of the issues traded, 92 gained, 113 declined and 25 remained unchanged.
