DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses --- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – witnessed gain in early hours of trading on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.
DSEX, the Broad Index of the DSE, gained by 0.08 points or 0.00 per cent to 4314.97 after the first two-hour of trade at 12:22pm.
Trade deals stood at 72404 with volume of transactions at Tk 3426.77 million.
Of the issues traded till then, 91 advanced, 175 declined and 16 remained unchanged.
BSCCL was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 46.47 million changing hands till then followed by UPGDCL, RAKCERAMIC, SAIFPOWER, KPCL and ACIFORMULA.
The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed upward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index losing 12.13 points to 8145.23, also at 12:22pm.
Of the issues traded till then, 55 gained, 121 declined and 12 remained unchanged.
