DHAKA: Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited opened its 2nd service center ‘Seba Ghor’ at Nikunja in Dhaka on Thursday aiming to bring unbanked people under banking services.
Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director of the Bank inaugurated the center as chief guest.
Assistant Vice President Nazrul Islam issued a press release in this regard.
Customers can avail banking services including 24 hours deposit and withdrawal of cash through ATM and IDM, checque and pay order collection, utility bill payment, account opening, balance inquiry and statement, internet banking service, standing instruction, check requisition and investment related information in this service center.
Mohammad Abdul Mannan as chief guest said, Islami Bank wants to fetch banking services to the doorsteps of the people through this service center.
Considering the advantages of the customers the bank has taken initiative to open service centers across the country. Unbanked people will be brought under banking services by this service center, he added.
Muhammad Abul Bashar, M Mahbub-ul-Alam and Abdus Sadeque Bhuiyan, Deputy Managing Directors, M Mosharraf Hossain and M Siddiqur Rahman, Executive Vice Presidents along with executives, officials of the bank and local elites were present on the occasion.
